Michael Parker

The President is the figurehead of the Club and Chair of the Club Executive and General Meetings. The President is a key officer within the Club responsible for encouraging participation by all members, providing leadership and mentorship. They ensure, with the support of the Secretary, that the Club operates within the Laws of the Sport, Bowls England Rules, the Club Constitution and Rules. Call, with the assistance of the Honorary Secretary, meetings of the Executive Committee of the Club, and to chair and conduct such meetings in accordance with recognised procedures. Be an ex officio member of all sub-committees and to assist thereon if necessary. Acts as host in all Club events and when the Club is hosting other Clubs or Counties.

Mike moved to the North West in 2001 after being Club Captain of IBM Bowls club in Hampshire for many years. He was Portsmouth and District Open singles champion in 1995.
